Meriva

Meriva

Meriva is the musical project of Fabrizio Pepe Minghini—a Brazilian of Italian descent with an artistic soul. Before becoming known as a DJ, Pepe was already a public figure for his work as an official photographer for major names in electronic music, such as Vintage Culture. His involvement with art has always been natural and diverse, and music emerged as another form of expression. Despite the audience's initial surprise, his DJ debut took place on December 30, 2020, with a livestream that went viral and marked the beginning of this new phase.

Pepe has always had a connection with music. Even as a teenager, he was already playing with black lights, CDs, and parties with friends. During the pandemic, this artistic side intensified, and he decided to professionalize his passion for DJing. The project's identity comes from the car he used at the beginning of his career, a 2005 Meriva, which, over time, became almost a character in his story. One of his most memorable experiences with the car occurred after a party with Sven Väth, when the Meriva simply "chose" not to start until he was gently persuaded—an episode that reinforces the personal and affectionate tone behind his stage name.

Musically, Meriva delivers sets marked by Progressive House, with influences from Afro-House, Indie Dance, and House, always adapting her energy to the dancefloor's mood. Her partnership with Vintage Culture opened doors and international experiences, including gigs in Europe and participation in a 50-hour livestream. Since then, she's performed at renowned dancefloors like P12, Green Valley, D-Edge, and Privilege, proving that her journey is just beginning.
